The square in which buildings with different programs coexist is one of the elements of the urban proposal of the multi-purpose enterprise, implanted in the region of Cerqueira César, in São Paulo. Called Praça Lisboa, the complex comprises a twenty-storey apartment tower, including senior living, a building designed for co-working, and a clinic.
Therefore, thought was given to how to combine potentially conflicting uses into a very narrow and dense development. Conde Design has given thought to best placement of each component to create a singular urban environment that binds the program and provides a strong sense of place.
The project saw the creation of a range of high quality, flexible and accessible spaces across the public and semi-private areas, still providing high levels of safety, security and privacy to apartments and clinic rooms, underpinned by the city’s industrial style, which not only regulates the whole development implementation and the relation between each use, but also the design standards across the site.
